Apoquiniminc Cakes

Ingredients
- salt
- 1 egg
- 4 ounces butter
- 1 quart flour
- new milk
Instructions
- Combine salt, beaten egg, and butter with the flour. Mix in new milk to form a paste. Beat the paste for half an hour with a pestle. Roll the paste thin and cut into round cakes. Bake them on a gridiron, taking care not to burn them.
