Spanish Fritters

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour with the well-beaten egg, yeast, and enough milk to make a dough slightly softer than muffin dough. Prepare this mixture early in the morning and allow it to rise well. Once risen, work in the melted butter. Form the dough into balls the size of walnuts. Fry them in boiling lard until they are a light brown. Serve with wine and sugar, or molasses.
