Rice Blanc Mange

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Boil a tea-cup full of rice in a very small quantity of water, till it is near bursting.
  2. Then add half a pint of milk and boil it to a mush, stirring all the time.
  3. Season it with sugar, wine, and nutmeg.
  4. Dip the mould in water and fill it.
  5. When cold, turn it in a dish, and surround it with boiled custard seasoned, or syllabub.
  6. Garnish it with marmalade.
