To Mash Turnips

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Boil the turnips until quite tender. Squeeze them as dry as possible. Put them into a sauce pan and mash them thoroughly with a wooden spoon. Rub them through a colander to remove lumps.
  2. Add a little butter to the mashed turnips. Keep stirring them until the butter is melted and well mixed throughout. Once fully combined, they are ready for table.
