Another Method for Making Yeast

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Peel one large Irish potato, boil it till soft, and rub it through a sieve.
  2. Add an equal quantity of flour and make it sufficiently liquid with hop tea.
  3. When a little warmer than new milk, add a gill of good yeast.
  4. Stir it well and keep it closely covered in a small pitcher.
