Sauce for a Goose

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Pare, core and slice some apples. Put them in a sauce pan with enough water to keep them from burning. Set over a very slow fire and keep closely covered until reduced to a pulp. Add a lump of butter and sugar to taste. Beat the mixture well and send to the table in a china bowl.
