Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Mix the honey with warm water in the proportion of thirty-six ounces of honey to four quarts of water. Stir until the honey is completely dissolved in solution. Pour the mixture into a cask. Allow it to ferment until it becomes perfectly clear. Bottle and cork it well.
  2. The quality of the finished mead depends greatly on the timing of bottling and other circumstances, which can only be learned through practice.
