Knuckle of Veal

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Boil a half pint of pearl barley in salt and water till quite tender.
  2. Drain the water from it, stir in a piece of butter, and put it in a deep dish.
  3. Have the knuckle nicely boiled in milk and water, and lay it on the barley.
  4. Pour some parsley and butter over it.
