Shrewsbury Cakes

Ingredients
- 1 pound sugar
- 2 pounds flour
- 1 large spoonful coriander seeds, pounded
- 0.75 pound butter, melted
- 6 eggs
- 1 gill brandy
Instructions
- Mix the sugar with the flour and pounded coriander seeds together. Sift the mixture. Add the melted butter, eggs, and brandy to the dry ingredients. Knead the dough well until fully combined. Roll the dough thin and cut into desired shapes. Bake without allowing the cakes to become too dark or discoloured.
