Baksan-beop (Honeyed Puffed-Rice Confection)

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Pound glutinous rice into flour and half-knead with good cheongju.
  2. Steam, then roll out with a bamboo stick and press as for noodles; cut like noodles, then into bean-sized pieces, and dry.
  3. Coat with honey, press together, and cut.
  4. If no white honey, boil honey down thick, melt it, press the pieces in, and cut yakgwa-sized.
