Ingredients

Instructions

  1. To one measure of sugar, put seven measures of water moderately warm, and dissolve it completely.
  2. Put it into a cask and stir in yeast in the proportion of a pint to eight gallons.
  3. Stop it close and keep it in a warm place till sufficiently sour.
