Muffins

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Sift a quart of flour and put to it a little salt and a large spoonful of yeast.
  2. Beat the white of a fresh egg to a strong froth and add it.
  3. Make the flour up with cold water, as soft as you can and still allow it to be handled.
  4. Set it in a moderately warm place.
  5. Next morning, beat it well with a spoon.
  6. Put it on the griddle in a round form and bake it nicely, turning them frequently till done.
