Syrup of Vinegar

Ingredients

• 2 pounds sugar
• 4 quarts vinegar

Instructions

1. Boil two pounds of sugar with four quarts of vinegar down to a syrup. Bottle it. Mix with water to serve as a beverage, with or without the addition of brandy.
