Almond Khabīṣ (Khabīṣ al-Lawz)

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Dissolve three raṭls of sugar in two ūqiyas of rosewater in a pot.
  2. When it dissolves and begins to set, add a raṭl of peeled, finely pounded sweet almonds and stir until cooked.
  3. Ladle out and dust with finely pounded sugar above and below. It may also be made with flour (two ūqiyas per raṭl of sugar).
