Almond Khabīṣ (Khabīṣ al-Lawz)

Ingredients
- raṭl sweet almonds
- raṭl sugar
- ūqiya rosewater
- flour
- finely pounded sugar
Instructions
- Dissolve three raṭls of sugar in two ūqiyas of rosewater in a pot.
- When it dissolves and begins to set, add a raṭl of peeled, finely pounded sweet almonds and stir until cooked.
- Ladle out and dust with finely pounded sugar above and below. It may also be made with flour (two ūqiyas per raṭl of sugar).
