Apple Shape

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Add a teacup of water to the sugar and boil for five minutes.
  2. Cut the apples neatly into quarters and core them.
  3. Stew the apples in the syrup until quite clear.
  4. Take out the apples and arrange them neatly in a buttered mould.
  5. Soak the gelatine and add it to the syrup.
  6. Let the syrup boil a little.
  7. When slightly cooled, pour the syrup into the mould.
  8. Turn out when cold and serve with custard or whipped cream.
