Apple Shape

Ingredients
- 1 lb Apples
- 0.5 oz Gelatine
- 1 lb Sugar
- 1 teacup Water
- Lemon or Clove seasoning
Instructions
- Add a teacup of water to the sugar and boil for five minutes.
- Cut the apples neatly into quarters and core them.
- Stew the apples in the syrup until quite clear.
- Take out the apples and arrange them neatly in a buttered mould.
- Soak the gelatine and add it to the syrup.
- Let the syrup boil a little.
- When slightly cooled, pour the syrup into the mould.
- Turn out when cold and serve with custard or whipped cream.
