Pie (Steak)

Instructions

  1. Cut a steak into thin slices and sprinkle with parsley, mushroom, and onion.
  2. Season with pepper and salt, rubbing the seasoning in well on both sides.
  3. Roll up each slice of beef, put into a saucepan on a layer of bacon, and put in sufficient water to cover the rolls.
  4. Simmer gently with the lid on till tender.
  5. Put into a pie-dish with a layer of hard-boiled eggs, and cover with a good crust.
  6. Bake in a quick oven for one hour and a half.
