Pudding (Rice) (My Mother's Recipe.)

Instructions

  1. Boil one cupful of rice in one and a half quarts of new milk.
  2. When soft, stir in a tablespoonful of butter.
  3. When cold, whisk up three eggs and add them, with some cinnamon or Naartje peel.
  4. Stir well together and bake for twenty minutes in a buttered pie-dish. Very good.
