Cake (Queen)

Instructions
- Have these ready: 1 lb. butter; a tablespoonful of orange-flower water; 1 lb. white sugar; 10 eggs; a pound and a half of finest flour; half a pound of blanched almonds.
- Beat 1 lb. of butter to a cream.
- Add the orange-flower water.
- Then add the sugar (pounded), the eggs beaten very light, and the pound and a half of finest flour. Beat all well together.
- Add half a pound of blanched almonds.
- Butter tins and line them with paper; put in the mixture an inch and a half deep.
- Bake in a quick oven one hour.
