Māliḥ bi-Laban (Salt Fish with Curds)

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Wash salt-cured fish, cut it as before, and fry in sesame oil (shīraj).
  2. Remove it hot and throw it into laban (curds/yogurt) mixed with pounded garlic.
  3. Sprinkle with cumin, coriander (kusfara), and cinnamon (dārṣīnī) pounded fine; eat hot or cold.
