Cream (Isinglass) (Mrs. Etheridge's Recipe)

Instructions

  1. Soak one ounce of isinglass in a little cold water.
  2. Add a cup of boiling milk, and stir till cold.
  3. Then mix four spoonfuls of apricot jam with 1 pint of cream, stirring the whole until nice and smooth.
  4. Then add 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of brandy.
