Punch (Milk)

Instructions

  1. Put the peel of the oranges and of 12 limes on the brandy for three days.
  2. Then mix 6 lb. of sugar and three quarts of lime and orange juice well together, and stir with the brandy till all the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Take out the peel, then add 4 bottles of rum and six quarts of water.
  4. Lastly pour in four quarts of boiling milk — be careful that the milk is boiling — stir, and cover up for a couple of hours.
  5. Then strain through a double flannel bag till quite clear. Bottle for use.
