Pudding (Canary) (Mrs. J. Van der Byl's Recipe.)

Instructions

  1. Take three eggs, also the weight of three eggs in sugar and butter, and the weight of two eggs in flour, and the grated rind of a lemon.
  2. Stir the butter to a cream. Add the sugar and the eggs, well whisked, gradually, then dredge in the flour.
  3. When mixed thoroughly, pour into a buttered mould and boil two hours.
  4. Serve with any sweet sauce. Enough for six people.
