Sauce (Onion), for Shoulder of Mutton

Instructions

  1. Peel four or five white onions and put them in salt and water for half an hour.
  2. Then boil in a saucepan, well covered with water, till soft. Drain thoroughly and chop fine.
  3. Mix with melted butter, made according to the previous receipt for melted butter. This is a delicious sauce for boiled leg or shoulder of mutton.
