Pudding (Chocolate) (German Recipe.)

Instructions

  1. Mix the grated chocolate, butter, pounded loaf sugar, and fine flour together, and stir them into the boiling milk.
  2. Stir till the substance gets loose from the pot, then put it into a dish to cool.
  3. Take six eggs and whisk the yolks and whites separately. First add the yolks to the mixture, then, when well stirred, add the whites, well whisked.
  4. Put into a buttered porcelain mould and boil one hour.
  5. Turn out and serve. It may be eaten hot or cold.
