Tart (Milk)

Instructions

  1. Have ready 1 pint of milk, 3 tablespoonfuls of sugar, a tablespoonful of butter, a tablespoonful of maizena, 2 eggs, and a stick of cinnamon.
  2. Boil the milk with the sugar and the stick of cinnamon.
  3. Stir the butter, the maizena, and a little cold milk together, and pour this into the boiling milk.
  4. Boil for five minutes, then pour into a basin.
  5. When cold, add two eggs well whisked.
  6. Line a tart-dish with paste, pour in this mixture, and bake for twenty minutes.
