Jelly (Fruit In)

Source: Hildagonda J. Duckitt, 1891

Instructions

  1. Put an inch of jelly into a mould, and when it is set, arrange any fruit you like on it.
  2. Put spoonfuls of jelly in between, to keep the fruit in place.
  3. It must be done slowly, allowing the jelly to set before adding more fruit.
  4. Fill up with jelly.
  5. It is an improvement to steep the fruit in maraschino, or brandy, before putting it into the jelly.
