Soup (Tomato)

Instructions

  1. Take about a dozen nice ripe tomatoes and boil them quite tender with an onion.
  2. Mash and strain them.
  3. Add to two quarts of good stock.
  4. Thicken with a pat of butter rolled in flour.
  5. Flavour with a green chilli, cut up, just before serving.
