Sandwiches (Egg)

Instructions

  1. Mash two or three hard-boiled eggs very finely and mix them with half an ounce of butter and some pepper and salt.
  2. Spread liberally on the bread and butter, cut as for an ordinary sandwich, with a sprinkling of watercress cut small, or of mustard and cress.
  3. The eggs may also be cut thinly and laid between the bread and butter, with pepper, salt, and cress.
