Instructions

1. Wash all garden greens clean, checking for small snails or caterpillars between the leaves.
2. Remove all coarse outer leaves and any tops injured by the weather.
3. Wash them again in plenty of water and drain in a colander.
4. Make sure the pot or saucepan is clean, well tinned, and free from sand or grease.
