Tongue Pie

Ingredients
- 1 pound neat's tongue
- 1 pound apple
- 1/3 pound sugar
- 1/4 pound butter
- 1 pint wine
- 1 pound raisins or currants
- 1/2 ounce cinnamon and mace
- paste No. 1
Instructions
- Combine one pound of neat's tongue, one pound of apple, one third pound of sugar, one quarter pound of butter, one pint of wine, one pound of raisins or currants (or half of each), and half an ounce of cinnamon and mace.
- Bake in paste No. 1, in proportion to size.
