To smother a Fowl in Oysters

Ingredients
- fowl
- dry oysters
- 1 pint stewed oysters
- salt and seasoning
- parsley or celery leaves
Instructions
- Fill the bird with dry oysters and sew it up.
- Boil in just enough water to cover, seasoning with salt to taste.
- When tender, put it in a deep dish.
- Pour over a pint of stewed oysters, well buttered and peppered.
- Garnish a turkey with parsley or celery leaves; serve a fowl with parsley sauce.
