To boil green Peas

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Bring a little water to a boil, not much more than will cover the peas.
  2. Put in the shelled peas with a few leaves of mint.
  3. As soon as they boil, add a piece of butter the size of a walnut and stir.
  4. When done, strain them off and sprinkle in a little salt.
  5. Shake them till the water drains off and send hot to table with melted butter in a cup or boat.
