Plain Cake

Ingredients

• 9 pounds flour
• 3 pounds sugar
• 3 pounds butter
• 1 quart emptins
• 1 quart milk
• 9 eggs
• 1 ounce spice
• 1 gill rose-water
• 1 gill wine

Instructions

1. Combine nine pounds of flour, three pounds of sugar, and three pounds of butter.
2. Add one quart of emptins, one quart of milk, nine eggs, one ounce of spice, one gill of rose-water and one gill of wine.
