To boil Cabbage

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Cut a large cabbage into quarters, or a small one in halves.
  2. Bring the water to a boil, add a little salt, then the cabbage with a little more salt on it.
  3. Return to a boil as quickly as possible and cook until the stalk is tender.
  4. Take the cabbage up into a colander or sieve to drain, and send it to table as hot as possible.
  5. Dress savoys in the same manner.
