A Nice Breakfast Cake

Ingredients

• 0.5 pound flour
• 1 ounce butter
• salt
• 2 eggs
• 1 tablespoon milk
• flour for sprinkling

Instructions

1. Combine the flour, butter, salt, eggs, and milk into a paste. Set the dough to rise before the fire. Roll it out and cut into cakes the size of small cheese plates. Sprinkle them with flour.
2. Bake on a tin in a brisk oven, or alternatively fry them in a clean frying pan. Cut the cakes in half while hot, butter them, and serve quickly.
