A Nice Breakfast Cake

Ingredients
- 0.5 pound flour
- 1 ounce butter
- salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon milk
- flour for sprinkling
Instructions
- Combine the flour, butter, salt, eggs, and milk into a paste. Set the dough to rise before the fire. Roll it out and cut into cakes the size of small cheese plates. Sprinkle them with flour.
- Bake on a tin in a brisk oven, or alternatively fry them in a clean frying pan. Cut the cakes in half while hot, butter them, and serve quickly.
