Yeast Dough, Another Way

Ingredients
- stakan milk or water, warm
- zolotnik dry yeast
- funt wheat flour
- stakan melted butter
- eggs
- tsp salt
- tsp sugar
Instructions
- Stir warm milk/water, salt, dissolved yeast and 1 1/2 stakan flour until smooth; set in a warm place until the surface cracks.
- Beat in 3-4 yolks, fold in the whipped whites, and knead in the rest of the flour until it no longer sticks to a knife.
- Work in 1/3 stakan melted butter until bubbly and it leaves the hands; let rise.
- Shape pirog or pirozhki, let rise, brush the top only with egg, and bake.
