A Luction, or a Rachael

Ingredients
- Thin nouilles paste
- Water
- Eggs
- White sugar
- Butter
- Lemon peel
- Preserved cherries
- Custard or cream
Instructions
- Make a thin nouilles paste and cut it into strips about two inches wide. Leave the strips to dry. Boil the dried strips in a little water, then drain through a colander. Once the water is strained off, mix the cooked paste with beaten eggs, white sugar, a little fresh butter, and grated lemon peel. Bake or boil this mixture in a shape lined with preserved cherries. When turned out onto a serving dish, pour over a fine custard or cream flavored with brandy and sweetened to taste.
