Buttered Purée Soup of Dried Peas

Ingredients

• 3 stakan dried peas
• 1 ложка (spoon) butter
• 1/2 roll stale grated roll
• 1 bunch bunch of greens
• 1 parsley root
• 1 leek
• 1 onion
• 1/2 ложка (spoon) flour
• 1/2 funt smoked whitefish (optional)

Instructions

1. Soak and drain the peas; cook down soft in water with butter and grated roll, no salt; sieve.
2. Thin with greens-flavoured water; add fried root/leek/onion dusted with flour; salt and boil.
3. Optionally boil in sliced smoked whitefish before serving.
