Icing for Cakes

Ingredients
- 0.5 pound white sugar
- 1 wine glass orange flower-water
- 2 egg whites
Instructions
- Whisk together the sifted white sugar and orange flower-water. Add the well-beaten and strained egg whites. Continue whisking until the mixture is quite thick and white.
- Once the cake is almost cold, dip a soft camel's hair brush into the icing and cover the cake well. Set it in a cool oven to harden.
