Ordinary Yeast Dough

Ingredients
- stakan milk or water, warm
- zolotnik dry yeast
- funt wheat flour
- funt butter
- eggs
- tsp salt
- tsp sugar
- rusks (dried bread)
- egg for glaze
Instructions
- Make a sponge from 1 1/4 stakan warm milk or water with the yeast and half the flour; leave in a warm place to rise.
- When risen, beat well with a wooden spatula, salt, add 2 spoons butter, 2 eggs (or 2-3 yolks) and enough flour for a thick dough; knead until it no longer sticks to the hands.
- After the second rise, roll out with a light dusting of flour, add filling, pinch closed, and let rise about half an hour.
- Brush with yolk beaten with butter and water and bake at once in a hot oven.
